      - Standards Version, bump to 3.9.8 (no change);
      - Vcs-*, secure;
      - debug symbol package, drop off in favour of automatic generation;
    - debian/rules:
      - dpkg-buildflags, add hardening=+all;
      - debug symbol package, drop off (see above);
    - debian/tests/*, introduce.
